Assists in the development and implementation of facility goals and priorities relating to financial management, budget, accounting, and payroll in compliance with State and Federal law, and The Baxter policies and procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities:
o Provide the maintenance of general and subsidiary ledges; accounts receivable, revenue distribution; depreciation, cost, property, and operating expenses; and insurance records.
o Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
o Develop, implement, modify and document recordkeeping, accounting systems, and data processing.
o Review and execute all invoices, checks, deposits, daily cash receipts and disbursements.
o Responsible for the coordinating, collecting, and processing time-sheets and payroll.
o Develop, maintain and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs and actual costs.
o Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
o Prepares state and federal quarterly and annual reports by assembling data.
o Prepares special reports by studying variances; preparing budgets; developing forecasts.
o Coordinate, review, and process annual filings, reports, and licenses as required for the operation of the business.
o Acquire, distribute, and store facility and office supplies.
o Routine clerical functions including organizing and maintaining files, scheduling appointments, reviewing vendor contracts and drafting agendas, invoices, documents and reports.
o Responsible for all items related to the negotiation and renewal of insurance policies (D&O, general liability, health, etc.)
o Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
o Secures financial information by completing data base backups.
Requirements:
o University degree or college diploma in accounting or related field
o Two years of work experience in accounting
o Excellent computer skills; proficient with Word, Excel, and QuickBooks
o Excellent communication, problem solving, and analytical skills
o Excellent organizational skills
o CPA preferred, but not required
