ABOUT THE SERIES
The 2016 Leadership Mentoring Series will present five successful women entrepreneurs’ stories of success and challenges. No speeches, no PowerPoints, no handouts. Just genuine, raw stories. Sessions are moderated by Ris Higgins, owner of Leadership Outfitters and long-time mentor to women entrepreneurs. Join us as they share their advice and encouragement with our community of women entrepreneurs.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Libby received her BS in Equine Nutrition and a minor in business from Colorado State University in 1993. She was a certified riding instructor for 17 years teaching in Connecticut, Colorado & Montana
and managed an equine breeding facility in Parker, Colorado before moving to Montana.

Here she continued to teach as well as start colts and mules before joining on with the then Bridger Feeds.

Her appetite for learning about nutrition and diet has led her to obtain a certification as a companion animal dietician well has CPN. She has written articles for several journals on both equine & companion animal health and strongly believes in species appropriate feeding and lectures and hosts workshops on what that means and how to do it. After observing how a pet owner’s appreciation for proper nutrition ignited a need for diet change in themselves, Libby became a certified IIN health & diet coach for people. She attends the Dogs Naturally Raw Round-Up Food Conference annually.
She has been with Bridger Animal Nutrition (aka Bridger Feeds) for 21 years and purchased the business in 2011. Although no longer a part of day to day operations, she does continue to teach staff about current findings so that they are up to date on new information that she learns in the field.
