The Baxter, located at the heart of Bozeman’s downtown historic district, has been the social hub for dining and nightlife in Southwest Montana since its opening in 1929.  The Baxter is centrally located amidst Bozeman’s charming Main Street stores, boutiques, galleries, museums and diverse restaurants which include the renown Ted’s Montana Grill restaurant and Bacchus Pub located on the Baxter’s lobby level.  It is also in close proximity to Montana State University and the nationally acclaimed Museum of the Rockies. The Baxter’s elegant two-story lobby and recently renovated grand ballroom provide the preeminent venue for weddings and other special events in the community.  The Baxter is rich in the history of Bozeman and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
